Whatta Great 2011!!

Time is running so fast. That is what I feel right now. Suddenly, 2011 is almost end and 2012 is coming. Day by day, week by week, and month by month have been passed quickly. So many things happened during 2011. For me, 2011 is a great period. Why I said so? Because, I thing I had new life during 2011. In the beginning of February, I started to work in General Inspectorate, Ministry of Public Work. It became my pride because I could fulfill my Mom request for being civil servant. My life as an employee was so different with a college student. Moreover, I had to leave my hometown and moved to Jakarta. So that, I was demanded to be more mature, responsible and independent. Even I lived far away from my parents, but I always enjoy it.

In my work place, I got so many valuable things that I haven’t got before. Graduating as Bachelor of Economics, I knew nothing about constructions of road, bridges, and dam as the core function of this ministry. But, it didn’t hamper my existence in this place. Because, during this year, I and other new employees got some lessons and trainings about all the things relate to public work. For example, I learned about the regulations on public work and constructions of dam. Even, I didn’t understand deeply about it, but I felt that learning about construction was so interesting. Suddenly, I admired with those who are Bachelor of Civil Engineering because they can understand deeply about the civil engineering and implement it to develop public infrastructure.

Not only new knowledge that I got, but also a place for live, study, work, and play.  I met new people, new family, new friends, and of course new experiences. There were 60 new employees who entered General Inspectorate, Ministry of Public Work. During this year, I spent the time together in some trainings and duties inside or outside the office. Not only having a process with them, but also with the boss and the senior. Even, one year is a short period, but I felt that we have closed each other.

By the end of this year, hopefully what I've done along 2011 will not vain. Even, there were some mistakes or misunderstandings that I did, I hope those are only a process of learning. Hopefully, I can be a better person in the next year and I will get so many experiences as great as in 2011. Goodbye 2011 and welcome 2012!
